City of Bonita Springs Road Updates

The city manager, Gary Price, was at the Women's Council of REALTORs meeting on Friday Feb. 2, 2007 with these updates for Bonita Springs. Here are a few things to watch for in the coming months. US 41 is suppose to have final approval of the road by the Dept. of Transportation and then the city can do the landscaping in the meadian. It will be beautiful. The road at Shangrala and Coclkeshell should be completed in about 3 weeks. It will be the new entrance to Bonita Golf and Country Club. A plan for Shangrala to adjoin to the new 3 oaks parkway is in the making and that will take approx. 1 year then a year to pave. West Terry to the school is under design to be 4 laned. Imperial Rd extension should be finished by the end of 2007 and 3 oaks should be done by October of 2008. There will be a new traffic light at Signal Rd and US41 and another one on W Terry st and the entrance to Albertsons. These will be great impovements to our city.
